Support our monthly Campaigns

Team Empowerment S.A is highly passionate in supporting various charities who are facing difficulty in obtaining the required funds to be able to deliver or reach the people who need help.

In order to be able to support various initiatives we have decided to set up monthly fundraisers to support a cause.

This would mean Team Empowerment S.A will launch a special edition colour of hoodie with a specific quote to raise awareness of the cause and the money made from the sales will go to the selected fundraiser.

How can you help

You can support in many ways; purchasing a hoodie, sharing our social media details and spreading the word of Team Empowerment S.A to family, friends, work colleagues and neighbours.

This months Fundraiser - Suicide Prevention

Team Empowerment S.A will be supporting the Samaritans through Work for Good

Samaritans organisation provides 24/7 support for anyone who feels the need to speak to someone, every call for help they receive can save someone’s life. Every year they campaign with over 70 other suicide prevention and mental health groups under the National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA).

Together, they ask governments in the UK and Ireland to make suicide prevention a priority, and help raise awareness about how we can each support each other better.

Suicide facts:

  • The England and Wales male suicide rate of 16.9 deaths per 100,000 is the highest since 2000 and remains in line with the rate in 2018; for females, the rate was 5.3 deaths per 100,000, consistent with 2018 and the highest since 2004.
  • There were 5,691 suicides in England and Wales in 2019, that is 321 more compared to the year before. The suicide rate has remained the same as in 2018– 11 deaths per 100,000 people, but the rates are still higher than in recent years.
  • The rate for females under 25 has increased by 93.8% since 2012, to its highest level in 2019.

A point to note: To date 2020 figures have not been released, however we can only imagine the rate of increase in the figures due to global pandemic 2020.

The world needs people like me and you that can help and share awareness of the need to speak up and be courageous. To let people who are having suicidal thoughts that they are not alone and guide them to the correct support.
